We integrate existing climate records and advanced climate modeling with rigorous scientific validation in accordance with Daubert v. Merrell Dow, 1993 and Rule 702 of the Federal Rules of Evidence to establish the temperature, humidity, snow cover, ice formation, fog, or surface wetness conditions for litigation involving:

  • the evaluation of conditions conducive to bodily harm such as ‘Slip and Fall’  in civil proceedings or insurance claims.

  • the estimation of conditions conducive to insect development (in conjunction with entomological information) or body decay (in conjunction with anthropological evidence) used in the estimation of postmortem interval (PMI) in criminal homicide proceedings.

We have also consulted on cases involving noise and air pollution levels in regulatory proceedings in local and federal jurisdictions.

Work has included informal and formal discovery, deposition, pre-trial and trial phases for both prosecution and defense attorneys
